These terms apply to this website, to RATCHET (our AI battery finder), and to batteries bought from Autobats Car Battery Center in Butuan City. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them.

1. RATCHET battery suggestions

RATCHET is an AI assistant powered by Grok (xAI). It suggests a battery size, terminal side and type from the vehicle details you type in. These suggestions are a guide only and can be wrong — vehicle variants, model years and previous modifications all affect what fits.

Always confirm with us before buying. We check fitment for free when you pick up or when we install, and we will not install a battery that does not fit your vehicle.

2. Prices and stock

• Prices are in Philippine pesos (PHP) and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one confirmed when you pay.
• Stock shown on the site is updated from our inventory but can change quickly. An item is only held for you once we confirm a reservation by call or text.
• Product photos and descriptions are for reference; the actual item may differ slightly in appearance.

3. Reservations

Reserve by calling or texting 0999 165 0194. We may release a reservation that is not picked up or confirmed within the time we agree with you.

4. Installation

• Installation and fitment checks are free for batteries bought from us, within our service area.
• We may decline an installation if the vehicle’s electrical system, terminals or battery tray are damaged or unsafe.
• Old batteries may be traded in or left with us for proper disposal.

5. Warranty

• Each battery carries the warranty period shown for it. The period depends on use: personal use (private vehicles) or commercial use (taxis, delivery, ride-hailing, fleet and other business vehicles). The use type is recorded on your receipt.
• The warranty starts on the date of purchase. Keep your receipt — we need it to process any claim.
• A battery found defective within its warranty period is replaced once. The replacement continues the original warranty; it does not start a new one.
• The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, physical abuse, wrong installation by others, overcharging or a faulty charging system, deep discharge from leaving loads on, modification, or use outside the recorded use type.
• We test the battery before deciding a claim. Bring the vehicle in if we need to check the charging system.

6. Returns

Batteries that have been installed or used cannot be returned for a refund except under the warranty above or where the law requires it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).

7. Using this website

• Do not misuse the site or RATCHET — for example by sending automated requests, attempting to break or overload it, or entering other people’s personal information.
• We may limit or switch off RATCHET at any time.
• Our name, logo and site content belong to Autobats Car Battery Center. Product brands belong to their owners.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses — such as lost time or income — arising from use of the site or from relying on an RATCHET suggestion without confirming it with us.
